NBGI Private Equity is pleased to announce the promotions of Belinda Berkeley to Associate Director and Adam Lewis to Investment Manager.

Belinda joined NBGI Private Equity in 2007, having previously worked at BDO Stoy Hayward in corporate finance advisory.  Since joining, Belinda has worked extensively with Ochre House, a high growth recruitment outsourcing and talent management business, which recently sold its non-core subsidiary, ITN Mark, an education recruitment business, generating a positive return for NBGIPE’s investors.  Belinda focuses on originating deals in the healthcare services and retail sectors.

Adam joined NBGI Private Equity in 2008 from Deloitte with a background in strategy consulting and commercial due diligence. Since joining the team he has worked on the Fund’s recent investments in Kornicis Group (bars & restaurants) and FSG (facilities management), where he has ongoing portfolio responsibilities.

NBGI Private Equity typically invests in established businesses valued between £5m and £50m.  The investment focus is on adding value by working with management teams to develop and where appropriate transform businesses.  Investment structures include management buy-outs and buy-ins, but also buy & builds, turnarounds and growth capital.  Although sector generalists, NBGI Private Equity has significant experience in the support services, manufacturing, consumer and healthcare sectors.
